A recent attack in Vilniansk has left the town's residents in shock. Rescue teams are addressing the destruction caused by missiles hitting shops and a residential building, which resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to more than 30 people. Locals have been helping one another, with reports of individuals using their cars to transport the wounded.

This attack took place hours after Moscow reported a Ukrainian drone hit a house in a Russian border village, killing five people. The front in Donetsk has also seen casualties, with four reported dead. Meanwhile, in the central city of Dnipro, rescuers continue to search through the remains of a nine-storey building following another deadly strike.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has renewed calls for international support, emphasizing the need for long-range strikes and modern air defense systems to counter the ongoing Russian attacks. The recent intensification of fighting across several fronts, especially along the extensive 1,000-kilometre front line, has left Ukraine's forces under significant pressure.

In recent weeks, fighting has intensified on several fronts, as Moscow steps up air raids and attacks on numerous locations along the vast, 1,000-kilometre front line, leaving Ukraine on the back foot.
